The documented experiences of school communities involved in a CRCE (curricular and research community engagement) intervention study. Explains how partnerships in research; training and community engagement can lead to knowledge creation; social change (in this case in an educational setting) and research capacity development; ultimately creating schools that are safe spaces of care.
