A selection of papers from a colloquium on educational interpreting held during July 2007 at the annual Joint Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Conference in Potchefstroom; and a continuation of the series Studies in language policy in South Africa. Aims to create a forum where scholars and language policy makers can exchange information and ideas on language policy in South Africa; within the context of the larger debate on the institutionalisation of multilingualism in the world. Includes a few additional papers from other conferences.
